About Derek Faller
I was born and raised in San Diego where I grew up with a very active lifestyle. I eventually got into the law enforcement field and worked for the San Diego Police Department for 13 years. During this time my wife and I who are both avid mountain bikers, spend a lot of time exploring and traveling to new places to bike around the western states. In 2002 we made the mistake of stopping off in Bend Oregon on the way back from a vacation in Idaho. Our brief visit let to several more visits to Bend when finally my wife and I decided that we need to be in Bend. We quit our jobs and made the move to Bend in 2004. While working various different jobs here, I got into real estate investing as a side business and got to know the market here very well. In 2012 I decided to make the career move and do real estate full time. I got my Realtor’s license and started my business in order to help others with finding or selling their homes in Bend.
Both my wife and I are avid mountain bikers and outdoor enthusiasts. We are active in the local mountain biking community and spend a lot of time biking, skiing, camping and trying to keep up with all the new breweries popping up around town. It isn’t a mystery to why people keep moving to Central Oregon, and if you are thinking of moving here or buying or selling a home here, I hope you will let me help you make it happen.
